Corrie D Marketing Customer Feedback

Project Summary

Craftsman Cladding contacted Corrie D Marketing back in 2011 at the very beginning, when Corrie D Marketing was first launched!

They were familiar with one another as previously had a working relationship from years gone by. Corrie-Dee Whaite (the founder) had dealings with Craftsman Cladding in a previous role at the Daily Mail as they advertised in the Home Improvements section and Corrie-Dee had also used their services for roofline to her home.

They had been commisioned to install the roofline as Corrie worked at the Daily Mail she wanted to book the services of a reputable company who advertised within the paper and use an advertisers services that they knew.

Corrie remembers Craftsman were not the cheapest at the time but used Freefoam (good quality) products and had a great reputation for their customer services and offered a 10 year guarantee.

Corrie’s neighbours were so pleased with the results to Corries house that at the time, the two houses next door on either side also booked their services after seeing what a great job they did throughout Corrie’s installation to make it 3 houses in a row! Surely that must be a record…?

The roofline looked modern, with boxed gutters and a few neighbours had all been receiving quotes as the whole street had suffered storm damage.

Most were claiming via their house insurance and some were going elsewhere to other roofline companies in Ayrshire, but when they saw the skilled craftsmanship and professionalism,  quality products, scaffolding and they tidied up any mess left behind it left no doubt in the neighbours minds who they wanted to install their roofline.

Anyway, Craftsman was looking for help to create a new responsive CMS WordPress website from a company they could trust, who could get on with the job. As the directors were extremely busy with the day to day running and developing the business, so they required the help of a company who could both write their web copy and design and develop a stunning new website.

Prior to commissioning Corrie D Marketing they had a website but it didn’t have much information and wasn’t generating any enquiries.

The new website was copywritten for the client with the clients final approval and edits which helped take the pressure off the client.

The website was truly responsive at a time when other companies were not designing truly responsive websites. So were leaders in their field.

They had a full sales funnel, database built on the back, 3D page flip eBrochures, initial SEO, unlimited emails, blogging, hosting and the client booked social media marketing and online digital display ad campaigns via CDM RTB platform.

“Multi-platform, multi-media opportunities translate into multi-choices. Social media and the Internet, in general, have turned life into an interconnected open-book exam - a sharp and important difference from the closed-book-exam shape of traditional research. (via Warc).”

Joel Rubinson

“Effective marketing is really quite simple: Identify your destination (goals). Determine how best to get there (strategy). Get started (tactics). Measure your progress (reporting and analysis). Make course corrections as needed (continuous improvement).”

Mac McIntosh, 2006
